TikTokers Are Hunting For the Austin Serial Killer
Ken Waks has become TikTok's resident expert on all things serial killers, and he begins his video on the Austin serial killer by saying, "There is obviously something going on, and I think I've got it."
The ex-Google engineer has been documenting missing person cases across the country for months and is the leading and most reasonable voice in the hunt to find out what is happening to all the missing people in America's biggest cities.
Ken believes the disappearances taking place in Austin are both "accelerating" and "are not the work of a single person but of a team working together." This claim is in contrast to the long-held notion that serial killers work alone and kill out of compulsion.
Ken has pinpointed the Austin serial killers hunting grounds to Rainey Street, as most of the disappearances happen on or around the street. And just like in Chicago, the bodies of these missing persons often reappear in water, which has been the same for the Austin missing persons.
While there have been no major breaks in the case, the belief at this moment is that there is a nationwide group known as the 'Smiley Face Gang' who is behind the killings.
Stay safe and check back for updates.
@ken Here’s what’s actually happening in Austin. I’m in touch with multiple PIs and investigators for Austin & Chicago, & here’s my plan for how we’re going to put an end to what’s happening not just there but across the country. We’re on the right path, we just have to stay the course and stay safe. #austin #missingperson #ladybirdlake #chicago #serialkiller #investigation #ringleader #update #catchingapredator #staysafe #privateinvestigator #drowning #justice ♬ Ambient-style emotional piano - MoppySound
