Nothing like waking up to the smell of the toilet!

Around the world, city apartments are getting more expensive. Part of this is due to increased demand; another part is cities’ unwillingness to build anything that isn’t a luxury accommodation. Another much more significant part of this is landlords who jack up the price because they can — what do you mean you’re increasing the price because the market’s gone up? My brother in Christ, you are the market!

In response, some areas have proposed housing reform, and then promptly been shushed by real-estate developers. Other areas have embraced smaller, more “economical” apartments, where people can live in cozy accommodations that are only slightly bigger than their bodies.

This is that idea taken to its extreme, and it could be where you find yourself living in the future. Great!
