I won't sugarcoat it, The Sandlot should've won the Academy Award for best film based on this scene alone. If the combination of hot dogs, fireworks, baseball, and Ray Charles straight up wailing his rendition of 'America the Beautiful' isn't enough to give you chills, then you're missing out.
