Sea Lions Chase Off Beach Goers and Terrorize Children at La Jolla Beach in San Diego

The ocean is fighting back!

Between the lost Titan submersible, orca gangs, shark attacks and dangerous storms, the ocean is not to be trifled with. Now land-dwelling ocean animals are getting in on the act, with sea lions on San Diego's La Jolla beach reclaiming the sand as their own.

"Warning, leave us to our sea," @ranveerweston commented.

According to CBS, the sea lions "aggressively barked and charged at dozens of tourists," including children. While sea lions are not naturally aggressive towards humans, American Oceans states that "they can become defensive if they feel threatened or cornered."

"Every year this happens, it’s nothing new," @StellaA72142431 commented. This video is eerily similar to a clip we covered from the same location last year

"I used to go there 40 years ago and just watch them from the top. It’s their spot. Respect the seals."
