Mr. Beast's 30 second Super Bowl ad for his 'Deez Nuts' candy bar is one big 2015 joke. "The biggest thing I've ever made? Probably Deez Nuts," he says to open the bit. Unfortunately, the YouTube megastar decided that Fox's $7 million asking price for an ad slot was too high, and instead released the commercial himself on Valentine's day.
"You’re telling me you wouldn’t spend 7 million dollars on a deez nuts joke?" one person commented. "You should have offered them 6.9," says another. While Mr. Beast's ad did not run during the big game, he did make a brief cameo in a commercial for the NFL's "Run With It" campaign designed to highlight women's flag football.
While it's understandable that Mr. Beast didn't want to spend seven figures on a joke, the ad would have surely been a hit. The candy bar itself looks pretty solid too. "I just ordered Deez Nuts," one person says. Maybe I'll get some too, and finally put some nuts in my mouth.
