wtf
A good old-fashioned, how it started vs how it's going meme. Facebook the parent company behind Meta has established a "personal boundary" setting in their VR game Horizon Worlds after users reported incidents of groping by other players. And if you've been paying attention, you'd know this is becoming an issue in virtual spaces, however, they are not new issues.
Here we have a stitched clip of Zuck talking about the key function of the metaverse 'human connection', too bad people are using their products for the wrong type of connection. The personal boundary is a four-foot barrier that players can turn on which prevents other players from coming in contact with them. It's not clear yet if there are ways around the boundary but were sure that's an issue Meta will deal with down the road.
But for the moment we can all pat ourselves on the back and take a big sip of our 'I told ya so" juice and watch all insanity happen.
