If you thought your beach vacation was going to be ruined by something on the ground, think again. These bugs downright infest the beach, striking eager swimmers and making it generally unpleasant to try to enjoy a slice of watermelon in the sand.

The video was apparently taken at Misquamicut State Beach in Rhode Island, and the swarm itself only lasted about five minutes. Still, I’m just going to play it safe and avoid this potential scenario by never going to Rhode Island.
