XBox Gamers Lose Again as 'Call of Duty: Cold War' Beta Comes Free to PS4
Next to Cyberpunk 2077, the other biggest game this year will be Call of Duty: Black Op: Cold War (arriving November 13th, 2020).
Starting this Friday, Sept. 18th through Sunday, Sept. 20th, PS4 players will be able to download and play the Alpha version of Cold War for free. You don't need to have pre-ordered it or anything, just a free limited time demo.
The demo will only include a couple different multiplayer modes to try—no campaign mode—but those modes are: 6v6 Team Deathmatch, 12v12 Combined Arms, 6v6 maps Miami, and 12v12 maps Armada.
XBox and PC owners are feeling pretty salty about the PS4 exclusivity (whether or not they admit it fully). So while they're in this vulnerable state, let's have a little laugh at their expense.
