Wednesday Morning Randomness: 57 Random Images to Keep You On Your Toes
It's the middle of the week, and pressure is probably building to get everything done before Friday. Not to worry, you can take a quick scroll through this collection of random pics, memes, and tweets. They're sure to distract you just enough to calm your nerves, unless you have to drive over any bridges in the near future.
Yesterday's biggest story happened when an almost 1,000 foot cargo ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, leading to a devastating collapse. Multiple people involved in the incident are still missing, the majority of whom were part of a construction crew working on the bridge. The accident occurred when the boat lost power, and subsequently control. Fortunately they were able to call out a mayday, leading the bridge's workers to stop as much traffic as they could from crossing the bridge. The images of the incident are striking to say the least, and a few of them are included here. Hopefully rescuers will be able to recover as many people as possible, and safety measures will be taken to prevent this kind of thing from happening in the future.
See those photos and more in this midweek gallery of morning randomness.
