While many people this past month have seen productions of the nativity scene, college football thought it was appropriate to broadcast their depiction of crucifixion through Pop-Tarts.

Kansas State and North Carolina State battled it out during the first-ever Pop-Tarts bowl in Orlando last night. But the main takeaway from the game was not the athletic prowess of the college football players or their ingenious plays. It was much holier as an anthropomorphic Pop-Tart was sacrificed to the winning team.

The sight of a smiling Pop-Tart descending into a toaster with "Hot Stuff" by Donna Summer blasting in the background and an announcer saying, "I wait to eat him" was enough for the Pop-Tart to make a late run for meme of the year.
