Most of our more elderly relatives, friends, and neighbors aren't the most technologically advanced people. And that's ok. It would be unfair to ask them to master something they've only started using recently. Bur forgiving them for their technological blunders would be a lot easier if they'd just stop positing ridiculous stuff to Facebook that shows how out of touch they are. 

Just like past generations stole R&B and made it worse, this group has done the same with memes. It's true that memes are a way to use humor to relate to the world, and boomers use them to do that, but the world they're "relating" to just doesn't exist the way they think it does.
