Though we may learn a sanitized version of events in our AP U.S. History classes, our ancestors were a whole lot freakier than many of us realize. Just as the historians tasked with uncovering the penis-covered, semen-fueled facts surrounding our collective past.

From Nintendo's early ventures to who, exactly, founded the Mile High Club, here are 21 spicy tidbits from history.
