While most worksite safety rules may seem intuitive, generally boiling down to don't set yourself on fire, don't set anyone else on fire and do your darndest not to fall off of a big ladder, some workers still failed to get the memo. The fine folks of r/OSHA know this truth all too well, having seen — to put it gently — some stuff that would make any inspector weep tears not of sorrow, but of true, unadulterated terror, knowing that someone is going to have one heck of a lawsuit on their hands.

From bricked emergency exits to ladders on ladders on ladders, here are 25 OSHA violations and sketchy construction fails.
