Every job has its rules, but sometimes a boss wants to flaunt their power and create rules that go far beyond what a normal workplace should be. What happened to this employee at r/Antiwork was that their boss created a rule that everyone had to sign out for lunch and the bathroom. While most people understand signing out to leave the office for lunch was reasonable, going to the bathroom feels a bit like grade school.
The employee took to Reddit to ask for advice on how to handle this situation, and they got more than what they needed.
