Thanksgiving is genuinely a great holiday. It’s not super expensive and in your face like Christmas, armies of children don’t take to the streets like Halloween, and it’s not an anniversary of when some religious figure did a thing. 

It’s the most American holiday, in a great way. A time set aside to just say “Food is good, so we’re gonna eat way too much of it, then get drunk.” It’s a beautiful thing.
