One Chuck E. Cheese technician revealed that not all games are calibrated the same. "There are some games we can adjust the payout for and some games we can't," he wrote. "We have a number called 'Ticket per play' that we have to try and maintain." According to him, that number must be met on average across the establishment, leading employees to adjust payouts from machine to machine. "If a game is cheating you out of tickets, we probably did that on purpose."
