25 Actually Plausible Tin Foil Hat Theories
As the comedian Ron Funches famously pointed out in one of his standup specials, everyone should believe in conspiracy theories. Not all of them of course, not even most of them, but not believing in any is just as strange as believing in all of them. "You just think the government's batting 1000 and telling us the whole truth?" These 25 theories have some serious evidence in their favor, and it doesn't take much convincing to see their case. Here are 25 actually plausible tin foil hat theories.
When Martin Luther King Jr. was killed, it didn't take long for people to start calling it an inside job. Seeing "The FBI killed MLK" on a list like this is expected, and it's been all but openly stated that they played a role. But one theory here takes things a step further. As a different submission points out, "We're being pushed into fighting culture wars, to distract us enough to not start a class war." Based on that sentiment, one person felt that the government decided to pull the trigger (figuratively and literally), when MLK began to change his rhetoric from racial equality to class equality.
See that, and other plausible conspiracy theories in this believable gallery.
