24 Cybersecurity Memes That Are Not a Phishing Scam
Perhaps the most important part of your company that you don't know exists is the cybersecurity team. That is until things go completely haywire. In a world where Chinese hackers or Russian bots can cause more damage than actual bombs, it's important that we safeguard our technology and data from attacks. Spammers and online criminals are everywhere, and you can never be too careful.
That's why many companies periodically send their employees phishing tests, to see if a worker is gullible to clicking on a possible breach of security email. Unfortunately, that means that employees get stuck with one bit of extra junk in their inbox, and the cybersecurity team gets thousands of actual spam messages reported back to them as phishing. Oh, and Barbra from accounting apparently set the password for the company's entire financial portfolio as "ilovemydog123." And then people have the nerve to complain when they make you add a special character?
Working cybersecurity takes a certain kind of person, and we thought we'd show them some love with a relatable bunch of cybersecurity memes. Even if you're not a computer buff we think you'll get a kick out of these. Just don't report them as phishing.
