20 Cops So Bad Not Even Cops Could Look the Other Way
Cops doing their job? It's a novel idea and not one that we've grown accustomed to seeing here in the United States.
There's a reason movements like ACAB and "Defund the Police" exist. But while I agree that there needs to be universal police reform, a large part of that change has to come from cops holding each other accountable. This gallery is dedicated to police officers who decided to uphold the law, even when their fellow cops were breaking it. Here are 22 cops who actually policed their own, or at the very least had some cop-on-cop action.
Although police cars are technically supposed to obey all traffic laws unless they are actively responding to a call with their lights on, we all know that the majority of cops like to drive by their own set of rules. But after seeing one of his colleagues exceed 80 miles per hour in a 45, a Florida Seminole County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over Officer Alexander Shaouni. Shaouni told the deputy he was just driving to work, and drove off. Those actions resulted in his suspension. I guess not all cops can get away with thinking they're above the law.
