Signs exist to convey rules and information in a concise and easily understandable way, but many signs can definitely use a bit of a redesign.

These 20 people turned to the internet to answer the question, "What is this?" after coming across inexplicable items and notices in the wild. Unfortunately, we're just as confused as they are.
