As Star Trek so often reminded us, space is the final frontier. It is grandiose beyond the comprehension of the human mind, and we can never hope to know or understand it all.
But what we can do is build spectacularly powerful telescopes to take crystal clear photos of the night sky, and make some pretty incredible inferences off of them. Space might be infinite, (practically), but so is human tenacity.
