14 'Time Travelers' Caught On Camera
As every science fiction series touches on at some point, time travel is a tricky business. But what if it wasn't science fiction? These 14 photos might indicate that time travel isn't just real, but the travelers are in our midst.
If you go to any kind of public sporting event now, you're sure to see a cellphone videotaping the affair. Before the age of camera phones, thousands of flashbulbs illuminated ever World Series pitch and every Super Bowl kickoff in the golden age of amateur sports photography. But what about the 90s? One photo of a Mike Tyson fight from 1995 appears to show a fan in the background with their cell phone out, and flashlight on. Only, as I'm sure you remember, camera cellphones didn't exist back then. Was the fan a time traveler, or is this some weird optical illusion?

This photo comes from 1943 in Reykjavík, Iceland, and a man can be seen standing next to deployed US soldiers during World War II. The photo was posted in an Icelandic Facebook group, where people debated if he really is holding a cellphone. -

A man named Rudolph Fenz was struck and killed by a New York taxi in the 1950s. However, there was allegedly a letter from 1876 in his pockets. He was only 30 at the time, but records showed a man of his name and description had disappeared back in the 1800s. Many thought that proved Rudolph was a time traveler. -

This photo from 1905 shows a man with a mohawk. Of course, the mohawk is a modern hairstyle, leading some to believe this man might be a time traveler. I think he just liked the haircut. -

This photo of British factory workers on the beach in 1943 features a man in a brown suit who appears to be checking his phone. Either way, he was not dressed for the beach. -
