Though one a-hole YouTuber may have headed to his local hardware store — hose in tow — in pursuit of likes and clicks, he got a whole lot more than he bargained for after angry shoppers gave him a taste of his own medicine.
While at first, the wannabe content creator took a callous approach to anyone who dared interfere with his gag —“whatcha doing, buddy?” he asked one guy who helped him curb his stream before dubbing the shopper a “jackass” — he quickly realized this behavior wouldn’t fly with other shoppers.
After getting chased by an angry customer and a planter thrown at his head by another, the influencer got hit with a whole lot of karma after spraying down a random woman during the prank.
“What the f—k are you doing, my boy?” the woman’s boyfriend repeatedly asked before rinsing the offending video star with his own hose, effectively chasing him out of the store.
Despite landing an apt punishment, it appears the influencer’s attempt at comedy failed to land with the people of Reddit, several viewers flocking to r/PublicFreakout to admonish this guy’s audacity.
“What a jerk. It's not even funny at all. People who find enjoyment in assaulting people need their ass kicked,” wrote u/Moon_Jewel90 while u/FemaleNeth denounced the clip as “s—t that a 8 yo would giggle about.”
We can only hope that these chuckle f–ks learned a hard lesson about being a—holes in public … at least for the sake of the poor employees stuck sopping up their mess.
