No matter how unenthused you may be about attending your child’s recital, it appears no one wants to be there less than one truth-talking kid, who interrupted a choral performance to share just how much he hated the show.

On Tuesday, Redditor u/PresentationEven8769 headed to r/PublicFreakout with a glimpse at a recital gone wrong, uploading a video depicting one kid who simply couldn’t wait until the end of the performance — a rendition of what appeared to be “Silent Night” — to offer his two cents on the amateur singers hitting the risers.

“This program sucks!” he exclaimed into the microphone after storming the stage. Though the choir director leapt out of her chair, it appears she was too late, the wiley kid sprinting off into the wings.

While we viewers at home can only speculate on what exactly happened after the camera stopped rolling — “Kids in the background reacting like she’s gonna go to prison for that” joked Redditor Namesthatareused — one thing is certain: That kid will definitely not be getting any flowers after the curtains close.
