If you thought TikTok was weird, TikTok Lives are another beast entirely. Some of the biggest stars to make careers out of going live on TikTok include people like Pinkydoll, who pretend to be NPCs, performing the same scripted lines and reactions on a loop as if they really were background characters in a video game.

In that same vein is NPC Miles Morales, who goes live on TikTok while out in public dressed up as Spider-Man. The point of going live is to encourage fans to send you gifts, which then translate into money or virtual items for the creator. Unfortunately for NPC Miles Morales, on a recent live, nobody had sent sufficiently expensive gifts for an extended period of time, leading him to have a meltdown on camera.

This led to countless comments calling him a crashout and describing this as the beginning of the “downfall of NPC Miles Morales.” That said, the majority of comments were confused and slightly concerned by his level of anger, while others were just amazed that he’d been able to keep up the NPC bit for this long since other NPC TikTokers have had even shorter careers.

It’s not the first time NPC Miles Morales has broken character. He also did so while live last year when police interrupted his stream to inform him that he was trespassing. He even worked the trespassing into his live, telling viewers, “I’m being trespassed at a gas station, my god!”

It’s shocking that trespass laws even apply to Spider-Man in the first place, but maybe that only applies in New York.
