PureFax is a blue-collar worker, and he wants you to know that he works hard. Harder than you. Think you have it tough? Well, he’s been “on overtime since Monday,” and “on the clock for 25 damn years.”
PureFax’s shtick is that he responds to other blue-collar laborers flexing their demanding jobs, and lets them know that they have nothing on him. “You think you’re a damn tough guy running around with a little bit of concrete on your hands?” he asks. “I drink fu***ng concrete.”

PureFax’s videos are sarcastic, and his TikTok bio reads, “This video is satire.” But while his rants are a humorous mockery of the excessive grind mindset, they also highlight its real dangers as a lifestyle. As a comment points out, it’s “Always a competition to see who can be the most miserable.”

Back in January, a man went viral for bragging about his three-job 80-hour work week, in response to a TikTok critiquing the standard 40 hours. The video sparked a discussion around excessive work culture, including this tweet pointing out its exploitative nature.
This type of guy is so universally unlikable that the most supportive relationships in his life are the ones where he's being exploited, and I think that's a key part of this culture war

But yesterday, PureFax “laid 14,000 pounds of drywall on the surface of the sun,” so he wants you to “squat down into your damn Toyota Tacoma and come on down to a real damn job site!”
