It’s that time of year again. No, not the holiday season — it’s the release of Pornhub’s Year in Review!

This is a special dataset Pornhub puts out every year showing porn habits from across the world. So go help your step-sister get unstuck from the dryer, then come join us as we dig through these hot and steamy statistics and barely-legal infographics.

First up, the headlines. Hentai reigned supreme once again, followed by “milf” and “lesbian.” According to Pornhub, this was a big year for those who like older folks. Searches for “mature” grew by 77 percent, and amazingly, searches for “GILF” saw an incredible growth of almost 170 percent. Wow, it’s so big!

Amongst the other growers were sex machines (searches for “android” rose by almost 1,700 percent), people in uniform and therapy porn — we really are a healthy generation, huh?

Then came the graphics. The state-by-state map purports to show what each state looks for more than other states. Despite this simple premise, it’s always one of the most confounding parts of the Year in Review. Case in point: This year, New Jersey apparently searched a lot for “Turkish,” while Arizona apparently can’t get enough of getting down and dirty in the Honda.

Another interesting data series showed just how much time each country spends on the site. While no nation hit gooning levels, the Philippines topped the charts at 11 minutes and 15 seconds. At the bottom was Mexico, lasting only 9 minutes and 24 seconds (a 69 second improvement over their time from last year — nice!).

Unfortunately, no country got that creative in terms of categories. The U.S. opted for Ebony porn, while our neighbors to the north can’t get enough girl-on-girl. South America appears to love it in the rear, and Russia has resigned itself to being happy with what it’s got.
