In a statement made on Monday night, Ezra Miller announced that they are seeking treatment for "complex mental health issues". Miller has had their time in the spotlight this year with erratic behavior, arrests, and public outbursts.
"Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment," Miller said. "I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe, and productive stage in my life."
The Flash star's legal troubles started after a violent outburst and an arrested for disorderly conduct in Iceland.

Recently, Miller has been housing a mother and her three children, ages 1-5, on a farm in Vermont where multiple people have called with concerns that the children are not safe at Miller's residence. Calls from neighbors as well as the children's father have said that the actor keeps several loaded assault rifles around the house, and is partaking in "heavy marijuana use" around the children. It has been reported that Miller allegedly blew marijuana smoke directly into the one-year-old's face.
Despite the allegations, Warner Bros. has decided to keep moving forward with The Flash release next summer.

Many fans have called for the studio to scrap the movie, however, they had a discussion last month about the fate of the actor and the direction of the Flash movie. They gave the actor three options.
The movie would be released and Miller would seek counseling for their behavior. Miller would give a small statement to the press about the film and apologize for their erratic behavior.

If Miller was unwilling to go to treatment, the studio would still release the movie but Miller would not be allowed to talk to the press at all and the studio would drop them from the role and move in a different direction.
The final option would be to throw everything out, including Miller, and start fresh.
It seems they chose the first option.
We'll have to wait and see how truthful Miller is being about their recovery or if it's Warner Bros. attempt to save this movie.
