In hindsight, this is probably more dangerous than driving on the icy road.

Trying to navigate a car in winter is no easy feat, and if you’re tasked with operating a large truck, that task is even more difficult. When a road ices over, you’re constantly running the risk of having control slip away in an instant, forcing you to try to regain control while hoping to God you don’t run into anyone.

In this case, a guy knew that his truck was going to have problems handling the winter conditions, and so, he appears to have gotten out of his car to either salt the road or see what was going on. However, he appears to have not applied the brakes, and so, he has to kiss his vehicle goodbye.

What is the proper procedure in this type of situation?
