Drag performer Jan Sport brought a whole new meaning to the term “death drop” last weekend, plummeting to the floor in a crowd surfing stunt gone wrong.
Though the RuPaul’s Drag Race alum may have meant to stun the crowd at
G-A-Y & Heaven Nightclub in London with her performance to Ariana Grande’s “Yes, And?” it appears she may have done her job a little too well.
While at first, the audience embraced Jan with open arms as she fell backwards into the pit below, her crowd surfing was short lived, the audience dropping her to the floor.
The clip quickly went viral on Twitter, drawing comparisons to Mean Girls and a whole lot of schadenfreude.

Did I just witness a murder?” asked @AltDragRace while @DragDollCo pinned the incident on Twinks with no upper body strength.
“Forgive them, Jan,” they added.

Yet even amid these jokes, it appears Jan did just that.
“You make plans and RuPaul laughs!” she joked in the comments.
To paraphrase @the_ari_gato, we only hope that Ari can use this incident as inspiration for her next single — “No, But.”
