Though one cyclist may have entered the Bianchi Rock Cobbler to enjoy what one participant had dubbed “the kookiest bike race” they had ever rode throughout Bakersfield, California, they got a whole lot more than they bargained for, landing in a guerrilla bullfighting match.

While the wild bull, grazing in a pasture next to the track, ever-so-politely let several racers ride on by with no problems whatsoever, he finally decided that enough was enough, getting very peeved at one biker who dared to go around him, attempting to gore him not once, but two separate times.

It appeared the biker was spared a death worthy of an old-timey Madrid matador, yet one thing is certain — he will most definitely not be attending the running of the bulls any time soon.
